ABOUT MARK TURNER

Mark Turner and his wife, Jennifer, started J Turner & Co, a furniture and lighting boutique based on Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, to offer a one-stop-shopping experience for all home design needs.

Prior to opening J Turner & Co., Mark and Jennifer owned YoBe, a frozen yogurt shop that they grew to 26 stores before selling the company in 2008.

Mark started his career at his family’s Turner Ace Hardware store in Ponte Vedra. He worked in the family business from 1983 to 1998, opening the largest Ace Hardware in the United States at 50,000 square feet.

In 1998, Mark left Turner Ace Hardware to open a mortgage company. He managed the mortgage business until 2008 when he and Jennifer started YoBe.

Jennifer and Mark are in the process of developing an orphanage in Jamaica called Tiny Hope. Tiny Hope will care for neglected children on the island. Both Mark and Jennifer have always given back to others, and they believe Tiny Hope will assist kids in the Caribbean and across the world.

Mark is a Jacksonville native who attended The Bolles School and Fletcher High School.
